the 7 meme
I don't know what "meme" means, but here's the game anyhow:

I was tagged by Lindsey.

Here are the rules: Each player starts with 7 random facts/habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to write on their own blog about their seven things, as well as these rules. You need to choose 7 people to get tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them that they have been tagged and to read your blog!

1. My twin daughters have gone to all the same schools as me (from elementary to High School).
2. I'm a "Photo fanatic" - I love to capture people, places and things in pictures. It really does help to keep memories alive!
3. I do not like spicy food - I guess I have a wimpy mouth! You'd never know I was married to a Latino!
4. However, I do love Mariachi (sp?) music! Esp. live at Mexican restaurants.
5. I have five piercings (all in my ears).
6. I have 2 dogs, 3 cats, twenty something fish and sometimes up to 10 kids in the house - it's like the Mini Rojas Zoo around here!

7. I still get together with about 20 friends from high school at least once a year (Christmas) and sometimes more for weddings, baby showers, big birthdays, etc.. And I've had my same best friend since 4th grade - love you Kelly!! Her birthday is tomorrow and I just put together a collage of just some of our pictures (hopefully it will come through).

Since Lindsey tagged all my taggers I will try to tag Cathi (she hasn't done a post on her blog yet so maybe this will motivate her).

Friends Rule!!!

I am so blessed to have such great friends!
This weekend would have been John and I's 11th Anniversary. We had bought tickets to the Stagecoach Music Festival and were going to rent a motor home and camp all weekend while listening to our country music!! By the way John kind of thought I was nuts for wanting to do THIS for our anniversary - he had told me he would take me anywhere I wanted to go and this is what I chose (I guess it's just the redneck country girl in me). Anyway we planned all this the day before he passed away.

A group of my friends all got together and bought tickets and we used Laura & Karen's motor home and what a blast!!! Of course I cried all through Brooks and Dunn (cuz' that was John's fav) but I couldn't think of a better way to spend this weekend then with my sister and 5 more of our friends! (and 60,000 more of our closest friends). All the people there were insane - I have never been to anything like that!! But for the most part it was calm and we met some real nice people.

Thank you Heather, Cathi, Tavia, Jody, Laura & Karen for giving up your weekend to be with me! I love you guys!

John would have loved this! Happy Anniversary my "Cowboy"...................................
