I love you Daddy

As I look back on my childhood I see how lucky I was to have a father like you! You are probably the kindest - do anything for anyone - man I know! You have always been there for me with words of wisdom (sometimes A LOT of words) a hug or just a kiss on the forehead. The point is you were always there, always involved - from Indian Princess' (Big Flame and Little Spark), to coaching, to homework, to taxing, to being my personal ATM (we won't tell Mom how much ATMing you did), to just being a loving & fun Dad. Our family has always been your priority! I don't think you ever missed one of our soccer/softball/baseball/volleyball games and/or singing - theatre shows (and with 4 kids doing stuff all at once that is a huge task!) We were blessed with numerous camping trips every year! We got to travel around the whole US in our Motorhome! And all of our Lake Tahoe camping (which happen to be conveniently located down the streets from the casino's) with everything from water rafting to bike rides. We weren't the richest family on the block but we quite possibly were the richest in love & family spirit! Your Godly example had a huge impact on how I raise my kids. I don't think I could have been blessed with a better father - I love you Daddy.

And because you are such an involved, loving Grandfather - my kids are blessed also!

And for putting up with this group - you will surly be rewarded in heaven!!!!!!

I couldn't agree more. We are very very blessed! I mention the example of how involved he was all the time (both to others and having to remind myself in this crazy season of life!) The great memories I have with pops are endless! Also agree that though we weren't the richest on the block, we gained much better riches along the way.....less is often more! We learned what it means to work, be unselfish (both by discipline and by the constant example he modeled for us). We love have so many reasons to love him.......just as he is!!!! If you are reading this dad, Happy Fathers Day and thank you for the effect you have had on both me and now my children. Love you!

ahh, love it. And I love Sean's (levi??) comment. What an amazingly generous, loving and fun dad we've been blessed with!

I agree- our kids are definitely benefitting greatly from the love and involvement we received from our parents as kids. That is so cool to see and I am so thankful for the way we were raised.
